Email: support@streetridr.com. We usually answer within two business days, in English or French. Street Ridr is made in Montréal, Canada, by Damien Parnet (Mennkind).
It helps enormously if you include:
- What you did: the screen you were on and what you tapped.
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
- Your device and OS version, for example “iPhone 17, iOS 27.0” or “Apple Watch Series 11, watchOS 27.0”. Both are in Settings › General › About.
- Your city, if it's about station data. The numbers come from each operator's own public feed, and feed quirks are often city-specific.
Feature requests and new-city requests are welcome at the same address.
Common questions
“Not available in this area yet”
Street Ridr covers 51 cities in 12 countries. Where it doesn't, the map says so instead of showing nothing (on Apple Watch, “Not available here yet”). Search for a covered city, or zoom all the way out to see them all marked. Want your city added? Email us the system's name. If it publishes a public GBFS feed, it can usually be added.
A station's numbers look wrong
Counts come straight from the operator's own public feed. If the feed is stale, the app tells you how old the reading is rather than presenting it as current, and past a certain age it stops showing counts altogether rather than mislead you. The numbers themselves are the operator's; check the operator's app before you walk.
Do I need my iPhone?
Not if your watch can get online. The Apple Watch app finds your location and loads the stations itself, over cellular or Wi‑Fi, or through your iPhone when it's nearby. It works even if the iPhone app was never installed.
Location isn't working
Check that Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › Street Ridr is set to “While Using the App”, with Precise Location on if you want the nearest station rather than the nearest neighborhood. Widgets and complications use the same permission.
Station alerts don't arrive (Apple Watch)
Turn on Station Alerts in the watch app's settings and allow notifications when asked. Alerts are checked when the watch refreshes its complications in the background, so they can lag by a few minutes, and they need at least one favorited station.
Favorites didn't sync
Syncing uses your iCloud account: make sure iCloud is on for Street Ridr on both devices (Settings › your name › iCloud). Sync usually catches up within a minute of opening the app.
Siri doesn't understand
Try “Nearest station in Street Ridr”, “Find parking in Street Ridr”, or “How's Home in Street Ridr”, with the name of one of your favorites. Siri also accepts “Street Rider”.
Can I rent or unlock a bike in Street Ridr?
No. Street Ridr shows availability; renting, unlocking, and paying happen in the operator's own app, under the operator's terms.
How do I delete my data?
There is nothing on our side to delete. Delete the app to remove what it stored on your device; to remove its iCloud data, go to Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage › Street Ridr. Details in the privacy policy.

Terms of use
Street Ridr is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. In plain words: the app is an information tool. Availability data is produced by the operators, may be wrong, stale, or unavailable, and is shown as received. Always confirm in the operator's app before you rely on it. Street Ridr does not rent, unlock, charge for, or insure bikes; your rental is between you and the operator under the operator's terms and age limits. Ride safely and obey local traffic laws; the app is not for emergency use.
Not applicable to Québec consumers: to the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as-is and we are not liable for losses arising from its use or from operator data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of your place of residence.
Privacy
We receive nothing from the app. The privacy policy covers what stays on your device, what it sends to Apple and to operators, and your rights.
